You can tell they love what they do It is so enjoyable Sitting on the front porch, having a glass of wine, a delicious appetizer and just talking to them and any of the other guests that are there. And of course, the breakfast is always outstanding! Everything is always fresh and delicious! You will not be disappointed if you stay here! I can’t wait to go back next year!

In need of a quick get-away to escape the oppressive South Florida summer heat, we planned a last minute trip to North Georgia; never expecting to fall in love with the surrounding area and this wonderful bed and breakfast.This is a beautifully restored and well-appointed property, and it is clear from the moment we arrived that this isn't just a business, but a labor of love for both Eli and Marlon. They are gracious and cultured hosts who instantly make guest feels like treasured friends. We welcomed the temporary escape from television, laptops and especially social media, relishing the authentic connection with our hosts and other guests with real conversation! We have stayed at many bed and breakfast inns over the years, but it was Eli and Marlon's hospitality and attention to detail that places them amongst our favorite hosts.

Verified Quiet location with amazing hosts! One of the original bed and breakfasts in the area this place does not disappoint. We are not the biggest fans of B&B’s but this one had such great reviews that we decided to try them. Boy are we glad we did. Great little suite provided a wonderful getaway for a couple of days. It is a very quaint and quiet spot.

Verified A great weekend at the Beechwood Inn. We loved our weekend at the Beechwood Inn. It was in the perfect location to serve as a base for a weekend of hiking around Clayton. Our room was very nice and the Inn is beautiful. Eli and Marlon are amazing hosts. The front porch is a great spot to wind the day down. And Eli's cooking skills at breakfast helps get the day started right.

Verified Delightful Stay at the Beechwood Inn We absolutely loved our stay at the Beechwood Inn. After arriving to admire the beautiful garden and views we were escorted to our room - The Blueberry Cottage. It was perfect -clean, comfortable and Pretty. The conversation , glass of wine and appetizer at " wine - 30 " was such a delightful way to begin our stay. The dinner recommendations each evening worked out well for us. The delicious hot breakfast and conversation each morning made our stay even more enjoyable. Our days were spent exploring the beautiful areas parks., waterfalls, museums , shops , restaurants ... Eli and Marlon are delightful hosts ! A perfect stay and would love to come back!

Verified Home away from Home The Beechwood Inn is a home away from home, the owners, Eli and Marlon are wonderful. They serve homemade breakfast every morning and is delicious. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and each one has their unique charm. There’s wine drinks in the main room every day at 5:30 PM were every guest and the owners seat and chat with each other.

Verified A perfect, welcoming mountain getaway in North Georgia I cannot say enough about how perfect our visit was to the Beechwood Inn in Clayton., GA. We stayed in Blueberry Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with a porch and view of Black Rock Mountain. Eli and Marlon were fabulous hosts. The breakfasts were delicious, with coffee beforehand. Wine-30, a wee wine happy hour, rounded out our feeling of being welcomed to this lovely inn. Clayton, GA, is a wonderful small town with great restaurants and outdoor activities abound.

Verified Warm and welcoming! Staying at the Beechwood Inn felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. Loved sitting and talking on the front porch with Eli and another couple then chatting with Marlon the next morning at breakfast. They did a fantastic job updating and decorating the Inn. We will be sure to return someday when our travels take us back to Clayton.

Verified Highly recommend!!! I cannot recommend this place enough. Eli and Marlon were amazing host and made us feel right at home. You can tell they take pride in the resort with how clean it is and how warm all of the decor is. From the moment we got there until we left they were so hospitable. The breakfast provided was fantastic and unique. We had wine hour with them both nights we were there and had the best conversations like old friends. They were very helpful with ideas for local restaurants and wineries as well. On top of all of that the location is perfect being so close to downtown and several wineries. We will definitely be back!

Verified Perfect Place to Connect with Friends! We booked a mid-week overnight stay at Beechwood Inn with 2 other couples coupled with an amazing 4 course wine dinner curated by a local chef. Marlon & Eli are consummate hosts starting with a tour of their magnificent inn and pre-dinner cocktail reception. The property is everything you long for when visiting the Northeast GA mountains. Your stress will evaporate as soon as you enter the front porch. Once inside this meticulously appointed inn you’ll feel it’s historic charm from the sitting rooms to the comfy suites upstairs. Our mid-week stay provided a safe gathering spot for us to connect with friends, enjoy great food & wine over dinner and cap our stay with an amazing breakfast. Beechwood Inn has my highest recommendation for a stay of any length in Clayton, GA!
